FAQ

1. Is this plugin affiliated with Taxamo?

This is an unofficial plugin. As Europe introduced the self clearance requirement for low value shipments, found Taxamo Assure as a viable option for my own business. This plugin was created to allow this functionality for WooCommerce.

2. Why an annual plan?

An annual plan is not technically necessary. As long as there is no major changes to the Taxamo API or WooComemrce, the current version of the plugin should continue working indefinitely. The annual plans ensures the plugin is up-to-date with any possible changes.

3. What happens if no HS code is set for a product?

Any products with missing HS Code information will be ignored and not passed to Taxamo Assure for VAT collection. Please consult the Taxamo documentation or your local accountant to any potential liability this may create.

4. How to exclude products from VAT?

Products without a set HS Code will automatically be excluded from VAT calculation.

5. Where to obtain my Taxamo IOSS number to pass to my carrier?

Your Taxamo IOSS number is available on the order page once it enters the processing stage.
